Keyframe Animation Editing in 3ds max

3ds max Keyframe Animation Editing a trajectory with a motion path So I’ll move to a different point in time so that we can see these keyframes a little bit better. To move a keyframe, all we have to do is grab the move tool and click on a keyframe, and it’s selected, and we see that we are automatically dropped into Subobject Keys over here. And we can just move that keyframe around. However, notice that it’s not changing the shape of the path. So to do that, we want to get at the bezier tangent handles. So let’s convert all of these to bezier. 3ds max Keyframe Animation Editing a trajectory with a motion path I’m going to select all of these keyframes. Just drag a big rectangle, and in the Motion panel, in the Key Controls rollout, I’ll click on Set Tangents to Auto. And right away, that helped our arc. Now we’ve got tangent handles that we can’t see, but they are in fact doing the job that we want, which is giving us a nice, clean arc.
