3ds max Modeling Sharpening corners with Crease so for the Scale tool, I’ll choose Pick as the reference coordinate system and then select the object, its name is displayed truncated up here in the reference coordinate system and then from the center fly-out here we want to choose the third option which is Transform Coordinate Center and now the pivot point of the object is the point of reference for the Scale tool and having done that, I can now scale in x and y right, so let’s get a look at this I’ll need to turn off the grid to see this better and use the G key to disable the grid so click on the bracket to scale in x and y not z and we can shape that model a little bit alright, so that’s pretty cool, I think I’ve got a pretty good result there I can undo that with Control + Z maybe I’ll do it for this other one instead .
